The way these bricks are made makes me think he's actually doing the right Thing, it doesnt make sense to make them like this if you are going to put cement between them.

Its called interlocking brick. Its wide enough to be stable until you finish it with a concrete crown to solidify in place. Some call it dry sealing since you apply a silicone type in joints instead of regular cement misture.

These are interlocking bricks which are good for max 1 story buildings/structures in hot climate areas, also cheap and have good isolation. Not good for extreme weather obviously

Drystack no morter?

Horrible therma insulation, must be a very warm country I suppose

The fact that the most upvoted comments are also the most wrong comments shows why you should never get advice from the internet 🤣🤣🤣 By the way I'm a contractor I know what interlocking bricks are, how to use them and when to use them. And most of you are just know it all idiots that know nothing.

Interlock Bricks. No need for anything in-between as can be seen by how the top and bottom look as well as the front and back. Only need Plaster for the finish on the outside, nothing in-between. Next time don't instantly judge based on what the first commenters say.
