if I remember correctly, BD turns 30 this year, and Tesla has worked on this for less than 2, also, Tesla is creating a robot that can be made for less than $20k, BD's costs more than one million, Tesla is leveraging AI to program the robot and optimize his movements/actions, BD is making millions of line of custom code for everything.

I won't be surprised if Boston dynamics already replaced their robots hands with machine guns and is combat ready. The video was at least 4 years old and I remember back in 2010 their robots were stil connecter by a thick wire and plugged to a power socket just to clumsily move. Look where it is now.
