Hate to break it to you but in order to get the classis bonsai tree you need to let it grow to about 2m tall, cut it down and keep it short afterwards to get a decent thickness of the main branch. Not kidding, honestly. Go look it up :)
Im far away from an expert, but dont wire them until you havnt put them into bowls. If their roots fill the pot its too late then. First thing after buying, out of the pot
