I experienced what I believe to be Bell’s palsy about two years ago, though the hospital could not confirm it 100%. It manifested over a weekend, starting with numbness in my eyebrow and eye, then spreading to the immediate surrounding area the next day. By Sunday I had no feeling or control of the entire left half of my face. They prescribed steroids and I regained feeling and movement in a little less than a week. They could not guarantee I would make a full recovery, or that it wouldn’t happen again, but so far I am good. Idk how much good that does for you, but I think it helped that I tried not to stress over it. As callous as it might sound, I kinda made a joke of it, or rather took it as lightheartedly as I could.

Not me but the girl next door had one. Took about 2 weeks but her face got back to normal like nothing had happened.

A woman I worked with had it, and I got caught referring to her as Left-eye Lopez
