Because the common denominator is "human".... Don't know if you've been paying attention in history class, but we're kind of a fucked-up species

Peace only for their believers, other religions must be killed out, also the only religion without religious war so far is Buddhism
26/09/21
Because "My GOD is the true one, yours is a false idol. I shall show you the truth... whether you like it or not" or something on that line.

It's the political arm of the organised religions that start wars, not the monks or priests. You have to separate the teachings from the political activities.
26/09/21
You do know religion is a form of governance? And there will never be peace in such system. Someone, somewhere will have to lose and nobody likes to lose...
26/09/21
If atheism are peaceful why are they always picking on religion and talking about finishing them off
26/09/21
Because the others are wrong
26/09/21
Because peace was never an option
26/09/21
Because peace comes from men wanting peace. Until the society is divided.. there will be manipulators and manipulated
26/09/21
No one want's peace: peace don't sell weapons or Tanks.
26/09/21
Because semantics of what ideals and peace should be. Some people were abused by one system so they hold the other system in high regard because they don't know any better about it but only see the flaws in their own system. And then there are those who support their own system because for them it has worked and they will defend it because "If it ain't broke, why fix it?"
26/09/21
you do know that religion is nothing but tool for those in power to stay in power and gain more power?
26/09/21
Because humans can't hold away there ego and they believe that they are better, although religion teaches them to treat everyone Equal they someone leave that part out and 'act on religion' whilst they act upon selfish ideas

Since when is it a religion's goal to solve political problems? Especially when it comes to war, which is politics continued by other means. I bet you the person writing this doesn't even understand the concepts of religion, peace, or war. According to mainstream historisophy, and I side with this, a religion is an important part of civilizational norms, but it's just that - only a part, a single cog. Conflicts generally happen on the lines of civilizational friction, cultural clash, or internal interests. Why don't you direct this question to the institutions of power? Social norms that aren't always religious, especially in the West? Sociology? Psychology? I know why, because none of these brainiacs have studied any of this serious on a level deeper than the tabloid-internet and opinion pieces. The term "political science" has the word "science" in it for a reason. Gosh.

Because it's not about peace, it's basically human farming, if you "nurture" a crop or animal it will bring back a bigger harvest so if the person considers you a a source of "nourishment" they will bring back a good harvest e.g money churches are the best way to get paid for talking and have free labor as well e.v ushers who do basically anything for the "church" just to gain a sense of self righteousness most of the time *potatoe*

Jesus , why ask yourself such silly questions.
26/09/21
If Religions are teacher, the believer are the stupid and ignorant student.
